The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed all-volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard. Since 1969, the members of Flotilla 14-8, based in Jacksonville have conducted safety patrols on local waterways, assisted in Search and Rescue, taught boating safety classes, conducted Vessel Examinations, and have conducted many other activities supporting the safety and security of our homeland within the maritime domain.
